Wick Farm BarnWedding

Updated: Dec 11, 2022

Jess & Phin held their wedding at Wick farm Barn which is located on Wick Farm, a medieval farm steeped in history and built for the monks at nearby Hinton Priory. Dating from 1372 it is set in 37 acres of stunning countryside, complete with horses, sheep, pigs, chickens and even a duck pond. The location of the ceremony & wedding breakfast is the beautiful threshing barn with views of the Westbury White Horse

The Barn is a beautiful blank canvas that allows couples to add a style that is completely personal to them . "rustic elegance" as Jess & Phin chose works really well in this setting. Ivory & cream flowers with hints of peach & scent from garden roses with lots of soft foliages created the look. Meadow arrangements were used to line the aisle creating a beautiful walkway and a large traditional milk church sat in the feature alcove. collections of stem & bud vases were used along the back wall & these were used as the table centres. the top table sat in front of the alcove & the meadows were relocated to the base of the table ensuring that every floral piece was used throughout the day,

A beautiful wedding, venue & couple to create florals for, an absolute pleasure,

"Louise is one of the most passionate people I have come across in the wedding industry. From start to finish, everything Louise did for us was with precision and heart. The final outcome of our wedding flowers were nothing short of amazing, the details and the colours were fabulous but more importantly and impressively, the flowers completely set off the wedding venue. There really wasn’t much else needed in terms of decorations as it was truly so fabulous. I had chosen a set up very similar to what Louise created for another of her brides at the same venue in 2019. I could not add to it being any better and knew it would be perfect. Louise was extremely helpful throughout, we had phone calls and shared a lot of emails (probably more than normal because of covid). Even with the uncertainty and changes Louise remained professional helpful. There was also a time during planning when we had cancelled our wedding in the UK and came back the this plan a few months later, with only three months to go and Louise went out of her way to fit us in despite being busy with another wedding the day after. We will always be so grateful for Louise, the time, effort and pride she takes to make your wedding day special is amazing. There is no other florist we would have chosen, I hope we can use her again in the future for something else and I’m excited for all other brides who are choosing Louise for their wedding (and all the guests who get to take flowers home with them afterwards). You will not regret it and it will being so much joy to your life! Thank you Louise for everything, we loved it, the guests loved it and I will recommend you to anyone and everyone . People like Louise who work in the wedding industry truly deserve all the success and work heading their way. You really helped make our wedding day the best in the world for us. Thank you," Jess & Phin Oct 2021 (source Google review)
