Autumnal warmth at Priston Mill

We had the pleasure of adding flowers to the wedding day of Beth & Rob in late September.

they chose a mix of dusky pinks, deep burgundy & ivory tones with just a touch of peach. A perfect mix for both the season & the venue which with its beautiful stone structure creates a lovely blank canvas for the colours to pop.

The Flowers chosen included 3 varieties of garden roses & spray roses, astilbe, dahlias, lisianthus, pepperberries, Veronica, daucus & a mix of seasonal, foliages. the priority was to reflect the season with soft garden style scented flowers in a blend of colours with lots of texture. We added dianthus snapdragons hydrangeas & stocks to the bigger displays to add more impact & height.

The most popular item with our couples this year has been a broken arch, creating impact at the main focus during the ceremonyy, after seeing our installation at a previous wedding at the barn, for Bethan & Rob this was an important part of their flower selection. Together with floor meadows & a ceremony table arrangement the barn felt flowered in all the right places! We also supplied a number of delicate stem & bud vases for the stylist Kirsten of The Little Wedding Helper. All the beautiful elegant details she added brought the whole theme of the day together with beautiful candlelight, stationery details from Hunter gatherings, co-ordinating napkins from The Knotted Napkin & tableware from Prestige Hire.

The beauty of the barn is how easy it is to repurpose every flower used for the ceremony! For Bethan & Robs day we used some of the aisle meadows to make a real "wow" feature of the top table which was seating 6. Curving them around the base together with the broken arch behind & the ceremony table display in the centre the couple were perfectly framed for all their guests. the remaining meadows sat behind the cake by Crumbs of Keynsham, such a lovely way to display it.

A beautiful Wedding for a gorgeous couple.
