Set amidst the rolling Mendip Hills, and surrounded by the charm of a working Somerset Vineyard, Aldwick Estate is the perfect setting for weddings.
Rob & Natasha chose the venue to hold their wedding, on a beautiful summers day in June. Choosing soft pinks with ivory tones, flowers were used throughout the venue from a large feature broken arch, Aisle meadows, a large floral chandelier with 2 foliage chandeliers and delicate stem vases across the tables
With 2 adjoining rooms to hold the ceremony & wedding breakfast, the space offers lots of opportunity to repurpose flowers throughout the day. The broken arch was moved from the top of the aisle to sit behind the top table & frame the couple during their meal, with the meadows used at various points including the base of the top table, together with the ceremony vases placed along the top tying in with the collection of vases of delicate blooms on each guest table. With 3 chandeliers marking the height of the room adding soft florals to the large central hoop with foliage attached to the outer hoops created balance with the florals across the large space
