Priston Mill, Heatwave wedding!

Taking a beautiful barn & filling it with flowers on one of the hottest day of the year! Ffion & Stefan chose to add flowers to every area of the Tythe Barn building at Priston Mill Near Bath a beautiful setting right in the heart of the countryside.

The preparations began at the Royal Cresent Hotel in the centre of the historic city of Bath . A beautifully, elegant, hotel , before heading the short journey to the barn.

A summery colour palette of peach & champagne with a slight touch of blush with plenty of sage green foliage to compliment the bridesmaids and tie in with the theme across the wedding, which featured delicate sage touches throughout. .

The temperature hit 34• on the day, after a week of high temperatures, a challenge to ensure the flowers stayed fresh! fortunately some areas of the barn gave some welcome shade to both the flowers & guests.

Ffion & Stefan really made the barn their own. With Styliing by Leanna of The Silk Studio, their wedding was full of beautiful details and flawless co-ordination. Full of elegance and completely in keeping with the rustic style of the barn. Priston has the benefit of beautiful outside space which ensured the stunning summers day was taken full advantage of.

Flower filled Traditional Milk churns, hired from our local farmer made a perfect entrance to the venue, adding to the rustic feel .

The main floral features of the day were floral columns at the top of the aisle around a tall narrow window and a decorated mezzanine. Floral meadows lined the aisle and stem vases were added on the ceremony table,

The wedding breakfast featured large arrangments placed on top of this years ever popular gold stands & complimented the gold footed bowls on the remaining tables. the aisle meadows and stem vases were used to decorate the top table along side loosely placed foliage. Flowers were such an important part of this wedding & Ffion & Stefan were a dream to work with.
