Pennard House Summer wedding

Updated: Dec 11, 2022

Pennard House is one of Somerset's hidden treasures. A Grade II listed family home surrounded by breathtaking Somerset countryside, and the venue chosen by Chloe & Saul to hold their wedding in August 2021. originally planned for 2020 the wedding took place on a beautiful summers day.

Their service was held in the the picturesque 14th Century village church which is just across the lawn from the venue where delicate bunches of flowers were attached to the pews.

The wedding breakfast followed in the Coach house which is a stunning space full of character & charm. guests were seated upstairs after entering the building downstairs & greeted by a delicate floral decoration at the base of the stairs and a stunning 3 layer cake by Duke of Cakes adorned with fresh flowers. The ceiling wires above the guests were decorated with delicate pieces of foliage which were also added to windowsill & the tables had vases of bouquets that were later given to guests as gifts.

Chloe & Saul chose soft blues with cream green & white to coordinate with their bridesmaids & groomsmen. delicate delphinium & Larkspur, soft seasonal foliages & scented garden roses were just some of the summer blooms used to create their florals. a beautiful wedding & a lovely couple to have worked with.

"Thank you so much for our beautiful flowers they are everything we wanted and more! You are so fantastic we couldn’t be more grateful ! " Chloe & Saul August 2021 (source instagram)
