Goldney Hall summer wedding

Updated: Jan 26, 2023

On a beautiful hot summers day, Kristie & Alex held their wedding breakfast at Goldney Hall in Clifton Bristol following a church wedding in the village of Long Ashton.

The Orangery is sat in beautiful gardens in the busy area of Clifton village - a real hidden gem . A blank canvas that is flooded with light through the large windows.

for their church service the couple chose large floral arrangements sat on gold stands

at the top of an aisle which was lined with meadow arrangements, all repurposed following the service.

following the ceremony the couple & their guests headed off to the venue in a large vintage bus before enjoying drinks in the garden in glorious sunshine while beautiful harp music sounded from the Orangery from Hannah Williams Harpist.

The choice of cream green & white summer blooms blended beautifully with the stunning gardens and the Grecian theme inside the Orangery. the table centrepieces were a mixture of gold footed bowls & large arrangements placed on gold stands which helped to fill the large space & compliment the height of the room, while the Aisle flowers were located in various areas of the room, ensuring there were floral decorations throughout including a beautiful backdrop for the elegant cake from "angels Kitchen" . the sage green chair drapes really brought the theme together and a favourite touch for me was the plantable menu card which contained wildflower seeds! a lovely keepsake for the guests.

A beautiful wedding on a perfect summers day in a stunning location. what more could a couple ask for!
